TEDxGangtok is an independently organized TED event operated under the license from TED. The one-day conference will feature eminent speakers from different walks of life who will share unique ideas. TEDxGangtok will bring together a community of curious minds to engage with ideas and each other.
The TEDxGangtok Team is a collaboration of young and like-minded people with the vision and drive to spread ideas that are worth sharing.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxGangtok, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxGangtok event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
